This right also applies to profiling conducted under these legal bases. To understand the specific legal basis for processing your data, please refer to this Data Protection Declaration. cookies
Our websites and pages use what the industry refers to
as “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your
device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session
cookies) or they are permanently archived on your device (permanent cookies).
Session cookies are automatically deleted once you terminate your visit. Permanent
cookies remain archived on your device until you actively delete them or they are
automatically eradicated by your web browser.
In some cases it is
possible that third party cookies are stored on your device once you enter our site
(third party cookies). These cookies enable you or us to take advantage of certain
services offered by the third party (e.g. cookies for the processing of payment
services).
Cookies have a variety of functions. Many cookies are
technically essential since certain website functions would not work in the absence
of the cookies (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). The
purpose of other cookies may be the analysis of user patterns or the display of
promotional messages.
Cookies, which are required for the performance of
electronic communication transactions (required cookies) or for the provision of
certain functions you want to use (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart
function) or those that are necessary for the optimization of the website (e.g.
cookies that provide measurable insights into the web audience), shall be stored on
the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless a different legal basis is cited.
The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to
ensure the technically error free and optimized provision of the operator’s
services. If your consent to the storage of the cookies has been requested, the
respective cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of the consent obtained (Art.
6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR); this consent may be revoked at any time.
You have
the option to set up your browser in such a manner that you will be notified any
time cookies are placed and to permit the acceptance of cookies only in specific
cases. You may also exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general
or activate the delete function for the automatic eradication of cookies when the
browser closes. If cookies are deactivated, the functions of this website may be
limited.
In the event that third party cookies are used or if cookies are
used for analytical purposes, we will separately notify you in conjunction with this
Data Protection Policy and, if applicable, ask for your consent.
Contact form
When you submit inquiries via our contact form, the information you provide, including any contact details, will be stored by us to handle your request and to follow up if necessary. We will not share this information without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in efficiently managing incoming requests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), if you have given it.
The data you provide via the contact form will be retained until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent for storage, or the purpose for which the data was collected no longer applies (e.g., after we have completed our response to your inquiry). This is without prejudice to any mandatory legal retention requirements.
Request by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your
request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and
processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass these
data on without your consent.
These data are processed on the basis of
Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a
contract or is required for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all
other cases, the data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the
effective handling of inquiries submitted to us (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on
the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR) if it has been
obtained.
The data sent by you to us via contact requests remain with us
until you request us to delete, revoke your consent to the storage or the purpose
for the data storage lapses (e.g. after completion of your request). Mandatory
statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain
unaffected.
5. Analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses features from the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics allows the website operator to analyze visitor behavior. For this purpose, the operator receives various user data, such as the pages visited, time spent on the site, the operating system used, and the user’s geographic origin. Google may combine this data to create a profile assigned to the respective user or device.
Google Analytics employs technologies that enable user recognition for analyzing behavior patterns (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). Typically, the usage data collected is transferred to and stored on Google servers in the United States.
This analysis is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as the website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize its online services and advertising. If you have given consent (e.g., to cookie storage), processing occurs under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and can be revoked at any time.
IP Anonymization
We have activated Google’s IP anonymization feature on this website. As a result, within the European Union or other states that have ratified the European Economic Area Convention, your IP address is shortened before transmission to the U.S. Google servers. The full IP address is only sent to the U.S. and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of A2GConsulting, Google uses this information to analyze website usage, generate reports, and provide related services. The IP address transmitted is not merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
For more details on Google Analytics’ data handling, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Data Processing Agreement
A2GConsulting has entered into a data processing agreement with Google and complies fully with the strict requirements of German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Data Retention
User and event data linked to cookies, user IDs, or advertising IDs (such as DoubleClick cookies or Android advertising IDs) are anonymized or deleted by Google after 14 months. For further information, please visit: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=en.
6. Plug-ins and Tools
Google Web Fonts
To ensure that fonts used on this website are uniform,
this website uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google. When you access a page on
our website, your browser will load the required web fonts into your browser cache
to correctly display text and fonts.
To do this, the browser you use will
have to establish a connection with Google’s servers. As a result, Google will learn
that your IP address was used to access this website. The use of Google Web Fonts is
based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest
in a uniform presentation of the font on the operator’s website. If a respective
declaration of consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to the archiving of cookies),
the data will be processed exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Any such consent may be revoked at any time.
If your browser should not
support Web Fonts, a standard font installed on your computer will be
used.
For more information on Google Web Fonts, please follow this link:
https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and consult Google’s
Data Privacy Declaration under: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to verify whether the data submitted on this website (such as information entered in a contact form) is provided by a human user or by an automated program. To achieve this, reCAPTCHA analyzes visitor behavior based on various parameters. This analysis is automatically initiated as soon as a visitor accesses the website. During this process, reCAPTCHA collects and evaluates data such as IP address, time spent on the website, and user cursor movements. The data gathered during these analyses are transmitted to Google.
These analyses operate entirely in the background, and visitors are not explicitly notified when they occur.
Data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as the website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting the website from abusive automated access and spam. If consent has been obtained, processing takes place exclusively under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and such consent may be withdrawn at any time.
For further information about Google reCAPTCHA, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use at the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en.
